Week in Review, Vol. 25

I’m sorry I missed last week’s week in review post! I was visiting my Grandma, who lives in Tampa on Davis Islands. It had been a long time since I had seen her, so I’m so glad I was able to manage a quick weekend visit. It was my first time leaving the baby, but we both did better than I expected! (A quick Skype call so my Grandma could see my husband and the baby definitely helped!) Anyway, I feel refreshed and relaxed after a quick getaway. We had a wonderful time together! Here are some of the links I’ve found and enjoyed over the past two weeks.

I always love Jen’s posts–I often re-read them several times! She is just so articulate. This post expressed some wonderful sentiments I hope to keep in my own life.

Mackenzie’s fall transition piece selections are perfect–this Mark & Graham bag especially so! It has a great vintage feel that I love.

This caprese salad recipe that I found via Jess’s blog sounds amazing. This recipe would be an ideal way to embrace tomato season.

Even though it’s been extremely hot here lately, sweaters are always on my mind. This one from the new brand La Ligne incorporates some of my favorite things (cashmere, stripes, navy blue) into one beautiful-looking piece. It’s a bit pricey, but I’d love to have it!

Tory Burch recently acquired and restored Bunny Mellon’s home in Antigua, and Vogue just published an inside look. It is perfect–a thoughtful and loving restoration of “the house [Bunny] loved most.”
