We try to grill as often as possible during the summer, and grilled peaches are one of my favorite desserts! Unfortunately, I haven’t made these in a long time, but I am certainly adding them back into my cooking repertoire this summer.
Serves six to eight
6 firm peaches, halved vertically (if the peaches are too soft, they will burn easily on the grill)
Olive oil (to brush on the peaches)
Heat the grill to medium heat. Brush olive oil on the cut side of each peach half. Place on the grill and grill, cut side down, for about five minutes. Flip and cook for another five minutes or until tender. Remove and serve with fresh vanilla ice cream.
