One of my favorite things about living in Locust Valley is the plethora of antique shops. Veronica Swanson Beard’s Locust Valley home makes great use of the fantastic resources here (she mentions her favorites on the Veronica Beard blog).
Another favorite thing are the beautiful houses in town! Veronica Swanson Beard’s is definitely one of the most stunning. I absolutely adore her house, from the traditional exterior to the classic-with-a-twist interior. Check out more photos from this Elle Decor issue!
I love this light-filled dining area and the mix of leopard print with Schumacher stripes.
There’s nothing like a good pattern and there are so many great ones in this room! I’m also completely in love with the color of the walls.
This mudroom is uber-chic (bonus points for the great Parker Thatch tennis racquet bag hanging up!) I love the hand-stenciled walls and the waxed ceramic tile, which is both practical and stylish.
Another great room with fabulous patterns. I love the use of garden stools as end tables!
